Clair Parker is Tiwi woman, born and raised in Darwin.

She is a visual artist, graphic designer and fashion designer, now based in Perth, WA.

She’s had a flourishing career in design, having graduated in 2016, from the Whitehouse Institute of Design, where she became the first Aboriginal female graduate, from the esteemed school. Since then she’s gone from strength to strength in the fashion sector.

She prides herself on working with community, having worked with community based label Bima wear.

She’s also produced garments independently, including in 2017, which graced the red carpet of the 89th Academy Awards.

She’s now producing her garments from start to finish, whether that be pattern-making, sewing or hand embroidery.

Clair provides bespoke, ready-to-wear garments for her women’s wear fashion label Clair Helen.
