Future of Fashion - Volume 1

In 2022, FNFD was supported by its partner The Iconic, in the first of many projects, for the Future of Fashion - Volume 1

This fashion initiative, funded by The Iconic, was created to support direct access to the Australian Fashion Industry. Designed to bring two worlds together through cultural exchange and industry collaboration, Future of Fashion paired First Nations designers with industry leading designers to collaborate on a piece each, to be presented on the 2022 FNFD Runway as part of the AfterPay Australian Fashion Week.

The initiative focused on one-on-one mentoring, design, creativity, listening and two-way learning.

FNFD is so proud to have created and led the Future of Fashion - Volume 1 initiative and look forward to delivering more in the near future.
